First research task for part 1 - looking at 3 mediums: drawing, painting and photography and getting my head around using mind maps.
Write a list of similarities and differences between the acts of drawing (or painting) and photography. Think about how they are used to make images and what can happen during that making process.

Hi!I'm Tammy and I've just started the Foundation level Drawings from the Past Programme and I'm looking forward to using this blog to help me develop my art practice.I studied traditional animation at degree level, many moons ago which led me into motion graphics where I realised I was obsessed with layers. I'm now a digital compositor, and if I do my job well you don't know I've manipulated the footage.In my downtime I enjoy doing physical art and recently did an MA in Printmaking (love photo-etchings), as I'm obsessed with densities and layers but unlike my day job, I like to reveal the layers.My drawing style is fast, so one of my goals is to develop tone with longer drawings rather than fast animated poses.Thanks for reading, and please do subscribe if you want to see where this journey takes me (and I'll happily follow you back too).T :)
